Minimap icon insead of dot?

I saw this in a custom campaign a looonnnggg time ago. Instead of just having a dot for your unit on the minimap, it had an icon for a unit floating around there. How????

go to Advanced -> Game Interface

and change the icon path to the desired icon under Icon - Minimap Hero

Game interface - you can change all console icons and texts there

Create your own dot texture for the minimap lol. At least that's how I replaced a gold mine that displays as yellow circle with a white rectangle i.e a building owned by me.
