Hi,

When I double click on map icon anywhere on my hard drive, World Editor loads but not the map, so then I have to go to "File > Open Map..." and then open it. It's nothing critical but it is annoying. Probably the answer is very simple, but I can't figure it out. I'm using Windows XP Professional (don't know if this info helps somehow...).

Please help,
- yours Xman :)

But it wasn't like this before O_o. I was trying to install the WE Unlimited, I didn't like it so I uninstalled the whole WC3 to make sure nothing gets in my way later on, besides I wanted to install WC3 on my memory stick :).

What do you mean? It is there where it should be, all the installation settings were default.

Are you sure you're double-clicking fast enough? I know it's silly, but...
Also, are you sure that W3E doesn't load? Check your process manager.

WarCraft 3 World Editor loads but not the map. Instead of opening my saved map it creates new one, the default Lordaeron Summer 64x64.

Happens to me to. It is a slight annoyance. But it's like... always happened for me ever since I installed JNGP. So I'm used to it after a few years, LOL

I once had the same problem and found 2 solutions for it
solution 1 wa to use a registry fixer to make wc3 recognize the path
solution 2 requires a tool to manipulate the way wc3 opens files and add a command to it
I'll edit them in here asap
(while I am looking for it you can use drag&drop :P)

and I attached the tools for it
