So, I have 2 computers each running on Windows 7, but the WE doesnt seem to act the same way for both of them.
On my laptop when I open a map via double click it automatically opens in the World Editor, but on my stationary computer they just open a blank map.
I read a thread here on the hive about it and from what I understood the solution was reinstalling WC3, because it currently is locally installed. I tryed doing that but it didnt make any difference.
Any other suggestions?

The registry mapping associating the map file extension with the WorldEdit executable is missing.

With a bit of hacking around in regedit.exe you can fix it.

There should be two parts.
1. A file extension mapping that informs the OS what command to run when default running a certain file extension.
2. A command mapping that converts a command into an actual physical command. This hides all your command line stuff like flags and things from the user.

I'll see what I can do when I get on my computer.

EDIT: Yeah, there wasnt anything with w3m in the registers. I just renamed the w3x" ones and fixed their paths and it worked, hope that wnot interfere with something else.
