So i had some issues on my computer so i re-installed it leaving me nothing but the basics left.

Didn't have any of my maps nor games.
So i thought i dl my map from hiveworkshop.com, it worked !

But my map is still protected...

Is there any **** tool or anything that makes it possible for me to
open up my map back?

Thank you

As far as I know you can't fully deprotect a protected map. You can try, but you won't be able to retrieve custom units, for example.

Doesn't sound to good...

Lets hope more peps comment on what they think...
There must be a some kind of way.. :/

Despite the fact that the map you seek to recover is yours, you are not allowed to discuss about deprotection.

Feel free to machinate something else.

Ok

So is there any ways on recovering my map without loosing to much data?

Sorry Ayrayen I am not going to help on this one. I recommend not "protecting" any
of your maps in the future.

"Protecting" maps always ends up causing problems like this - you hurt yourself a lot
more than the "risk" (which is not something you have control over any way) of someone
"stealing" your work (your same work has probably already been done before any way).

I get your point and your view over this but ''protecting'' maps is something realy good if you don't want anyone to steal or change anything without permissions in your map. Then it is reccomended.

''protecting maps always ends up causing problems like this''

If it does, why doesn't someone come up with an idea to solve it?
I mean if it is such a big problem to people, shouldn't we like try to
help eachother fixing/recovering the maps?
Stuff like this doesn't have to happen. But still it does, we all know it, we all mentioned it, we've all seen it.

I know there's a solution to it but no one mentions it. Why..?
