Map compatability?

Hey guys,

I made a map a long time ago during the 1.20 series of wc3 ft patches and I was wondering if I threw it into my maps folder with the latest 1.23a patch would it play?

The reason I'm asking this is because I want to modify the map somewhat and I need to know whether I must patch my game to same version the map was made with, then patch upwards accordingly.

You should be able to play it with 1.23a patch.

Well I just did I just re-installed the game after a re-format and I was just checking so I didn't have to re-install again.

So you think it'll work? Woot!

I can get it to play in the map editor but it won't show up in my map list

Any help?

Open it in World Editor, then save it with a different name and put it in your maps/download folder.

Should work.

I had tried that already, I just did calculate shadows and save map and it worked a charm.
