LoreCraft Asset Installer

This bundle is marked as pending. It has not been reviewed by a staff member yet.
This is the Installer Archive for Lorecraft Designs Campaings.
The bundle willbe periodically updated with every new act or campaign released.
This assets installe willbe compatible with Rise of The Alliance and Tides of Darkness patch 2.0 campaings.

Tutorial:

Troubleshooting.

Here is the link to the asset archive for manual installation:
You can unpack the zip archive into "retail" folder in the WC3 game client folder.
If this is the first time you installing the mod and installer didnt work, unpack the archive into retail and then move the AllowLocalFIles.reg in the warcraft 3 client folder and right click on it and execute or add it to windows registry.
Warcraft 3 game client or world editor should not be launched during istallation or manual unpacking. The mod adds modifies .slk files and if installation is performed with game or editor launched in parallel - it can corrupt the game files.

the corruption might have happened if the warcraft 3 client or editor were launched during installation. Uninstall the mod and try again.
In the video you can see how to uninstall.

Thanks for your reply. I tried that, maybe the install file itself is corrupted when downloaded? Can you provide a cheksum?

Hi, got the exact same issue as the previous commenter. Reinstalled wc3 itself, then used the lorecraft installer, rebooted, nothing worked.
Even the manual pack seems to give the same issue.

hi I have a problem with the icons of the heroes and abilities. they all appear in green
Read the previous comments. You literally messed up during the installation process, specifically putting that asset in the game root.

If the problem still persists, try using the manual method. Make sure you don't open either WC3 or WE during the installation process, and that you have to reboot your system after the installation.

Hi guys,
hello guys
I think I know why the characters don't appear after installation. It seems to be a problem due to the security in windows 11 (I think since the last 2 updates) which no longer lets you write directly to the registry.
I downloaded the files manually from here and wrote the AllowLocalFiles registry key manually and now it works. I'm posting the archive with the registry key for anyone interested (the key is removed from post 5)

1.Make sure you have the latest Warcraft III: Reforged patch from Battle.net (currently v2.0.4.23745).
2.Make sure you enable the Reforged mode in-game (everything set to Reforged HD; Classic HD is unsupported).
3.Make sure you enable the Old Terrain option (this is also essential if you want to play the other HD-only maps and campaigns like W3RR).
4.Install the mod first using this Asset Installer before installing the campaign itself. Remember to reboot your system, and that you don't open either game or WE during the installation process.

The author has even provided a video regarding the installation guide.

This is not the problem related to Windows 11. It's all about the mod installation. Have you ever followed the posts above yours, as well as my advice above in this post?

I followed the steps 3 times exactly as in the video on two different computers and had the same results. Everything worked only after I manually ran AllowLocalFiles.reg

Hi all,
I initially had the same issues as others, where models were black or un-rendered & icons were green.
I managed to resolve the issue by pointing the install at ProgramFilesx86 instead of just ProgramFiles.
Hopefully this helps some others wanting to experience an excellent custom campaign.

Oi, pessoal,
THANKS

Hi,

No orc models are displayed, almost all my terrain is black, unit options are displayed with neon green squares...

YES, I'm sure I have the latest version of the game.
YES, I activated the game in Reforged.
YES, I put the terrain in V1.36 Old terrain.
YES, I installed the mod as administrator, without the WC3 client being open, I restarted my PC once the installation was finished, then installed the campaign in the campaign folder once everything was finished.

I installed Costi-San's "Allowlocalfiles" file and that doesn't work either.

There may be something I don't understand here, but it seems to come from this "Allowlocalfiles" file and I don't know where to find a way to fix this problem.

The next few days I will try to install the assets manually.
