Looking for 1-2 Mapping Partner(s)

Well right now I am looking for poster doodads with Soviet propaganda on them, a few signs in Russian, things like that.

What decade should they be from & do you need a CnP or hand-made texture?

CnP would work, the decade doesn't really matter, I'm just looking for something Soviet, in the form of posters, with a picture of Cyrillic writing which would be propaganda.

Lemme try and find something as an example.

If you type in Soviet Propaganda in google you'll get a million results under images that look fairly good.

They're supposed to be plastered to walls in Soviet base camps and small Siberian towns in my project.

Well it took a few hours but me and another guy managed to fix the corrupted .blp files and figure out how to get everything working. I uploaded all the files and a test map that shows how to import and use them.

-Only one side is textured, the other side is invisible
-They must be manipulated with the ctrl+pgup/pgdown & +/- to make them fit on walls properly
-The image size is considerable, but if you want to go ahead and optimize the pictures so the size is lower
-They look pretty good in-game

Thanks a lot dude. Lemme check 'em in-game. As long as they have no edge that the textures wraps around, and aren't crooked I think they'll be great.

They look pretty good, what do you mean about corrupted BLP's? I planned on reskinning these to where I had about 10 or so, if there was something to derail me I'd like to know that too.

I got that social group coming soon too.

Well when I converted the images to .blp format all 4 of them errored out every single time so I had to put them in TGA format.

Well here's another error. They don't appear in-game.. Nor do they appear in World Editor. Even in your test map.

Just turn them around, one side is see-through so you half to turn them to the other side to see them.

Did you imort them exactly like in the example map, and did you scale them up a lot?

Hmm, well I have no idea why they wouldn't be showing up on your WE. Try JNGP if your not using it (thats what I use), or ask on the forums =/

I am using JNGP, I will figure it out sooner or later..
