Can someone tell me how I can make barricades like in Dawn of the Dead 4 using an ability or adding one using a peasant with an ability. This is my final stage in my Map.
make an ability based on a warden spell, best based on snake warden (is that the correct word in english? if not i think you know what i mean ). Then you have to create one (or if more levels needed make more) building "barricade" (change all dependencies and given researches or food you dont need) with about 5 sec build time.
All you have now to do, is to change summoned unit of your ability from serpent ward to barricade. And if you dont want that the barricades disappear after some sec - just set the duration from unit and hero to 0. YEA, you are done - and no need for JASS
- make a new custom building "barricade"
- make a spell based on "serpent warden" named MakeBarricades
>> changes in the 'MakeBarricades'-ability:
- set the 'summoned unit-type' to your "barricade"
- set the duration-hero and duration-unit to 0
Nope, Sunny, your right. I asked for a "Spell" not a building for a peon. But thanks for helping guys. It works well. But I can't figure out one of my other posts...Sunny, can you help me on the Lumber post???
!?!?!?!?! I don't see what you are talking about...but anyway thanks for helping you too now all I need for my map is the Lumber Problem, which I posted in another thread.
