Welcome to the official release of Kings & Curses TD
What is this map all about?
Kings and Curses TD is a tower defense game with a twist.
Like a traditional tower defense, you have creeps that run through a pre-determined area that you have to kill using towers in order to receive gold for future purchases. Each players goal is to defend their king from dying and kill everyone else's king by sending creeps and cursing them. The last king standing wins. In all, there are 60 creep waves and 6 boss levels for a total of 66 rounds.
What makes our TD unique is the implementation of Legendary towers, among many other things. Legendary towers are buildings which need to be purchased with not just gold, but lumber also. Each Legendary tower is unique in it's own way, whether it be with upgrade-able abilities/buffs you can purchase, or just simply raw power. We also have the newly added CURSING feature. Curse your enemies with debuffs to their towers and their kings to help you beat them!
What else is so special about this TD?
LUMBER HARVESTING
We have included lumber harvesting into our TD to make it stand out among the others. You can hire penguin slaves to chop wood and then exchange that wood for gold, use it to build legendary towers or to send creeps to another teams king.
A GAME WITHIN A GAME
There is more than one way to win/lose in Kings & Curses. Every player has their own king, which can be upgraded using lumber. If your king dies, you die. This means that the goal of the game is not just to survive the wave of creeps, but also to keep your king from being killed. You can send creeps to attack enemy kings from your barracks. Sending creeps gives you income, which is displayed on a leaderboard for you to keep track of. Income is given at the end of every round.
MULTIPLE BUILDERS
Your builder(Navy Captain) can transform back and forth into his alternate form, which holds even more towers!
SINGLE PLAYER MODE
Do you enjoy playing TD's alone? Do you not want to play the King aspect of the game and want to play just the TD? You can do that! We have a "single player mode" which allows you to play and practice solo. You even have the ability to skip waves by typing in the "-next" command.
DIFFICULTY SETTINGS
We understand that not everyone is a pro at tower defense games or simply just wants to learn the game without getting demolished and not knowing what happened. We have several game modes that allow you to play and enjoy yourself with leisure or you can try our impossible mode and really challenge yourself!
ENDLESS TOWER SELECTIONS
With over 80 towers and endless amounts of upgrades and researches available, you'll find yourself trying to explore all the possibilities of endless play. We're always striving to add new towers as well as optimizing older towers as we add new waves, modes and balance.
TRUE RELENTLESS PVP
No other TD out there puts you at war like Kings & Curses TD does. Your absolute goal is to destroy your enemies Kings to become victorious. From the very beginning, you choose, either go the offensive or defensive route of sending creeps to your enemies or upgrading your King. Will you curse your enemies, or will you focus on debuffing? Which strategy will you choose?
MAP DEVELOPMENT & HISTORY
This map has been in development for 10 years now! It started off as an idea, which turned into some terrain, then slowly some triggers were added. Unfortunately, the know-how was not there at that time, but is now! So, with that being said, Kings & Curses TD has just finished going through testing and according to our public audience, they absolutely love it. You can rest assured that we will stand behind our hard work and constantly update and improve the amazing mechanics which we have already implemented.

We last stated that this would be the final map version and that we would be adding tweaks to have creeps that you leak transformed into income creeps and sent to attack your king depending on the wave level. This idea is still in the works but going through various stages of testing and we're not sure whether it will be added into the final version of the game due to all the macro systems already implemented into the map. Another idea is to have it featured as a map mode, but again, still just something we're considering as it would require a lot of work to implement it in this way and we'd have to rework our entire system to add it in. We will update this post if ever there is a change.

To answer your question, this is still the same map, we've just renamed it to Kings & Curses TD.
I also did answer your question, just on the other map page instead of this one. They are not the same maps, this one was rebuilt from the ground up with different teams, modes, features, towers, terrain, etc.
As for the map using systems from someone else and not providing credits... I'm not sure what you mean exactly? Every single script/trigger etc was written by myself and my partner and all credits are written in the maps quests section.
Alright. It would have been better if you communicate these things still.
In the past we had some cases of users replacing maps or adding maps to other approved maps
to try and sneak by the approval system. The added/replacing maps had been rejected beforehand.
As for the credits, please also add them to the map description.
Once that has been done, after having tried the map, I will approve it.

It means a lot to me to finally see this map have it's day in the community after several years of work. I hope you could eventually get around to playing a full match and giving it a full review! I also welcome all other reviewers to give their honest opinions and suggestions for improvements
This was fixed in the last update. Is your map up to date?
EDIT: It seems I forgot to update the ability cast range alongside the unit attack range. This has now been fixed and a new map has been uploaded! Thank you for informing me
Both the unit and ability ranges were changed I don't see why the bug would still be there... Also the reason I didn't update the map version is because it was just a quick fix and I'm already working on the next map version. Add me on Discord if you'd like so we could look into this more BukLau#0917 or join the official map discord.
EDIT: I found the issue. Fixing it now and adding parts of the new cursing update and will upload a new map.
I've added version info to the map name as well as in-game and fixed the bug with Valkyrie(tested this time). As for King heals, I tested and everything seems to work accordingly as well, but I will keep an eye out for it. I'm glad you're enjoying the map!
Map has been revamped and refreshed. Many systems have changed and whatever was broken prior has been fixed. We're still working on polishes but everything should work as intended, along with a host of many new features that we've added
