Jass NewGen Pack Merge option

Jass NewGen Pack editor has a new option called merge (merge object data, merge trigger data etc.). Does this still contain the original data + the new data when done?

When you merge two maps it will copy all the data from each map and form it into one map. It should not make duplicates of custom units (or anything else) if they are exactly the same in both maps.
