Item pick up system

Hey guys,
I need a trigger system that when I pick up an item that is better than the previous one it replaces the previous one. Like when you pick up the shadow orb +2 it replaces the shadow Orb +1 in fact that is the item I've edited.

You could try this using item level values. You would create the worst items with the lowest level. If you pick an item of the same type which has higher item level, then it replaces the worse item.
