I'm learnign JASS from the tutorials here, and thought to sign up an account. It then told me to introduce my self, so here I am.

I don't really have much to say, but here are a few things about myself:

Name: Risen_Demon (The oppisite of Fallen Angel)
Clan: BoM
Mapping Skills: Profiecient with GUI, and leakless. Learning JASS. Average Terrain. Limited 2-D art skills. Starting a tiny bit of skinning.

So, there we go. I'm off to browse and learn.

Thanks, for the comments guys. I really appreciate them and feel more welcome because of them.

I realize that most of them are spammed, but whatever, it still shows that you care.

Mmm, not too well.

I find that JASS is a rather poorly designed language. You require multiple lines of code to simply run the trigger. Compared to some real languages, such as C or Python, I find that it is lacking.

wyrmlord's tutorial is nice, but I find that it covers some parts in heavy detail, and others in not enough.

Also, the syntax is getting on my nerves.

But, overall not badly. Mostly, I'm running JASS scripts using GUI triggers atm, but I am also understanding other peoples JASS systems better.

Nonetheless, I am still working on it becuase it enables you to do so many more things in warcraft in a simpler fashion.
