So basically, I'm making a map with two abilities at the moment... "Eat" and "Interact", where "Eat" is meant to be used only for food items, and "Interact" is to be used for making the char "Talk to people" or "Examine an Object". The problem I'm having is that the "Interact" option does the exact same as the "Eat" option, even though I've tried setting many triggers to try to cancel the action when using "Interact" instead of "Eat" on a food item. In other words, "Interact" will also make the char "Eat" the food. I even disabled all of the "Targets Allowed" from the "Interact" ability, and the food will still be eaten, and the hunger will still go up, as if he used the "Eat" ability. If someone is able to help me, I would be greatly appreciative, and even let you, and/or those you request, to be a private tester for my map. It's called "The Dead", and it is based on "Zombie SURVIVAL".
Before you say any complaints, such as, "Oh, this is just ANOTHER zombie game where you just shoot at the zombies. Right?" then you're COMPLETELY wrong. This game is not intended for many people to join forces and shoot millions of zombies with unlimited ammo, 24-7. This game is STRICTLY a single-player (Multiplay version coming later on after release) zombie Survival game made out of the world editor. What will it have that's different from the others? Well...
1) You are INTENDED to die... eventually. The objective of the game is to survive the Zombie Apocalypse as long as you can, leading to your downfall in the future. It is based in 2012, where the people said that the world would end... but with a twist. Instead of Hell just opening, and all people escaping to Heaven, the Dead roam the Earth, seeking victims to increase their population.
2) Hunger system. You must eat to survive long enough. Should your mana (Hunger) reach 0, you die. Should you be infected by a zombie, there is no cure, so a gun is handy. However, if you use a weapon on anyone, it will stun them, so you have a chance to last against a zombie, but if they swarm you, you might as well say, "I'm screwed."
3) No missions. This isn't just an RPG. It's a Sandbox one, too. You CAN get people to follow you, and have them be your allies, should you need help (Which, by how the apocalypse can be dangerous, the chances are Highly Likely.)
4) Never-Ending Onslaught. Eventually, the zombies will duplicate, so you should watch your back at all times, as you never know when they might just... "Pop Up" on you...
5) Permanent Corpses. When someone dies from human hands, they will drop to the floor, and die, but never decay. Even the zombies. If people die from zombies, they are transformed into them instantly, with no bodies on the floor.
6) Isometric view. Are you familiar with the good ol' games like Age of Empires II? Well, if you are, then you're in luck. The camera has been transformed into a 3D version of that type. No more rotating Left-Right to get a better view. I put the camera In-Between, so it's easier to find anything.
7) Barricading System. If you find Lumber lying around, you can use it to add to your Wood Storage, where you can build a barricade to protect yourself, or others.
8) Psychos aren't the only ones after you. If you go to the edge of the map, the Military will be there, with enough gun power to kill you instantly. Why? Diamond City (The city you live in on the game) is under a Quarantine. Nobody will ever go in, or leave.
9) Limited Loot. Conserve to survive. If you get hungry, you should eat a little, so that you can survive longer. Get too hungry, and you will start to notice changes. If you are very hungry, you can't walk that fast, nor attack that strong. You will have to eat to get rid of those problems.
I would say more, but then I'd be advertising too much on the wrong forum page. I'll be making one soon, so remember to keep your eyes peeled .
