In-game Minimap problem

I know how to import an in game minimap, like importing it in and changing it to the war3mapMap.tga. The only problem is that the in-game minimap screen still shows the units, those dots. Is it because i disabled fog of war?

Changing the in-game minimap image will not remove unit blips off the minimap. Some things have otions to hide them on the minimap, but thats usually for doodads and neutral buildings.
