importing problem

i read the import guide for a model and it is really confusing.
first. the guide is for a mac and i have an xp so its a little confusing there. second. the guide said to go to module (in world edit) and select " import manager". this option is non existant

You must have the expansion in order to import (to have the import manager) and it being a mac should make no difference.
