and this one doesnt even need a texture other than in game textures.

I tried removing "war3imported". doesnt help either.

I am taking these models from UTM and none of them have a readme file. I imported some of them without having any problems but this time i have tons of problems. I tried importing rocks from there while waiting for an answer and it caused a crash to WE. Now the rocks wont show too.

Open the model in Magos -> Go to Texture Manager -> See the path you need

I mean what do you use this model for? (Unit, destructible,.... cuz u believe it's related to the Sky effect)

You mean the WE or in-game this crash ? If it's in the game well it's a geoset animation problem...

No not the game. As soon as i placed the doodad on the map it crashed.

I've just done this too. The textures the "ashenvale winter" uses are two and both are starting with replaceble textures which are in the game folders.

UTM also sometimes uses custom textures. If you want to import the Rock 1 - 2 thing (those from B2M) they DO have a custom texture, starting with "F" If I recall correctly.
I use a tool which finds the related textures of the chosen model. And displays them even if it uses in-game textures or custom ones. All I have to do is find them and i did.

It isnt old I have 16gb of RAM as well, and I didnt even play with the models, they show up in the UTM map without problems. First, I choose which models to put in my map from UTM then I write down their original names and import them using import manager from the imported folder(which holds all of the UTM models and textures). But some of the models always keep making problems. From what I've experienced all of the "MODULAR" models and now this boulder(Full name:TRP-Environment Boulder 01)

NO one?

I found out that there is another issue. It's not about pathing I guess. I tried changing the model files of a random doodad. First, I changed it to another custom model it said that it couldn't load the model file, then I changed into "abomination" model and it said could not load the file again. What is wrong with this does anyone know about it?

Anyone? Come on people I need help I tried tons of stuff and cant work out by myself.

I created a new map just to test out what is going on and imported only 1 tree. It is "canopy_tree" from UTM. It uses "7.blp" and "3.blp" textures. I imported all and changed their paths to(only textures) "7.blp" from "war3imported/7.blp" all the models worked this way for me but these trees are annoying me so much! The tree still appears as NOTHING in the game and WE.

NEW EDIT: I managed to make them appear in WE. The problem was variatons. But now most of them appearing in WE(There are still two types not appearing), they wont show in game again! Whats the problem I'm gonna go crazy. This thread is like my diary, i write something now and then and nobody cares.

EDIT3:I tried creating the tree from a prop instead of a tree. Just when I put the new prop tree on the map in WE editor crashes!

If you attach the test map we will be greatly more able to help you.

Variations is one of the point making models not appear, there is another one, a field like 'Is light model' that has to be set to false.

The texture paths are wrong, they have to be:

Textures\Birkenlaub.blp
Textures\Birkenrinde.blp
Textures\Buchenlaub.blp
Textures\Buchenrinde.blp

Then they work. You should learn how to get the texture path if you don't know it.
Open the model in Magos and then go to the Texture Manager and check the paths there, that are the same paths they have to have in the WE.

It would help if you would always attach the map with the problem if there is any. As you have noticed you had an answer straight away after doing that. Anyway: if the models work in the UTM but not in your own map then you have simply not copied something / missed something / done something wrong, which we can easily identify if you attach the map.

Hm, the doodads work fine for me in the map you attached, after I change the texture paths, as previously posted.

Try re-importing them
