But instead, I just copied someone else's idea, I made a FPS. That's right, arrow keys, letter keys and dialogues. No mouse or clicking or overhead cameras.

I haven't seen any map like this in Battle.net. Maybe I'm the first person to make such a map, or maybe there's a massive problem, such as lag, or it's really boring.

Tell me what you think, or make your own varient on this idea. you can try it out in Single Player, but it's mainly made for multiplayer.

I suspected there would be such a problem. Oh well, gues it'll just have to be a singleplayer map with multiplayer capabilites.

Wait, after a few minutes of considering this problem, I have a partial solution. Instead of pressing a key just change a variable, the up key will also order the unit to move, then the loops will pick up the variable change while that move is being performed.
That should reduce the lag on the forwards key, the most imortant one.

arrow keys are just inherently laggy, they have utter crap for response time

it won't matter what you do, the response will always be terrible

THAT IS SUCH A LIE! (no offence)
I am making a variation of IggiZ great 'Ninja Combat' map (Campaign)
It works perfectly as long as you use the right
conditions and you order the unit to move in the keypress trigger:
E:
-player presses up arrow
C:
A:
-set Key_up true
-order unit to move to position of unit with polar offset blablabla

release trigger:
E:
-player releases up arrow
C:
A:
-set Key_up false
-order unit to stop

This perfectly works.
the only laggy thing is the walk animation... the unit doesn't walk smoothly

Still, it's just a matter of finding the right timing in the trigger.

PS.: IggiZ, I loved your 'Ninja Combat map', it's great AND original.
