Choose your type firstly - TD, RPG, Hero Survival, etc. You may wanna look through tuorials such as 'Making RPG map, etc i gives explanation what a map needs.

Choose what u like, a movie a book. Sumthing u have seen like GTA lotr harry potter pirates of carribean narnia. Its alot out there. And then u thinking what im wana do of this. RPG or AoS or meelee or what ever. Not so hard xD depends on what u like do u not have nay own feelings what u want?

Shanghai...You completely contradicted TheTerran's response. And just so you know, if you ever look on B.Net, the kind of games that copied another game are rarely found, mostly because they are badly made.

My advice, go with something short and sweet, don't make some kind of RPG based on some book or movie, create your own.

-Get an idea with something that u know u wont have problem to find documentation,code etc..

evangle... Well, as already mentioned by TheTerran, first chose a genre you like - RPG, AoS, mingame etc... Then think of something original(e.g., humans fighting orcs is unoriginal. Use your imagination!) and try to implement it. It's as simple as that.
