http://momm.seiken.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=44 this is a tutorial on using gmax...includes simple instructions to get started on animating. One piece of advice id give you is when your moving bones around during your animations pay special attention to there starting x,y,z coordinates, so that you can put them back in the correct starting places between each animation. I also believe that 960 frames equals 1 second of animation time for warcraft.
