ok i need help animating i have gmax,3dstudiomax4.2,i have wc3 wiewer,wc3 art blabla,oinkwlertools, but not milkshape. well if i do a animation in gmax or 3dSMax then i whant another animation how do i do that?do i need bones or something?can some on tell me??

I use 3dS Max. You make all your animations in there. It actually is just one big animation with note keys to separate out each movement.
You don't need bones to animate. You can just animate the meshes if it's a simple model. But if it's complex, bones make it much easier to manage. Usually I will use either a point helper or some object flagged as a bone to animate my models.
