i have this problem with warcraft3

i dont know if this is the right forum to post in, but before i report to blizzard i was wonder if anyone else has this problem.

i formated my comp and just install wc3tft and when i launch the game it freezes, i was wonder if the reason was the little movie they show "footman vs grunt with the infernal pops out" maybe my video card cant support it, or maybe i need to dl a new drive for the card, and one more problem is that i used the world editor to get it, i got in by using test map, and when i got in i can change the resolution, its default 800x600 i wanna change it to 1000x800 but the game crashs after.

can anyone help me with this problem?

EDIT: o herm...am using Geforce 6600 and now... am using Geforce 4MX, MX works better than 6600 i dont know why, i can play wc3 fine with MX but i recommanded using 6600.

tl;dr but
1. Try running game executable with -opengl option
2. Try deleting .mpq files from Movies directory

how do i open gl, theres no option like that in warcraft3 right? i gotta do it on my video card? but my video card is buggy for some reason, i got a fatal error in warcraft3 and could never play warcraft again so i formated my comp and using my old video card.
