Simply 3 lowlife like sayings from wc3.sear tell you exactly HOW to unprotect maps.
1. Join a battlenet melee game with a map hack on and spam "IM HACKING"!
2. Install DirectX 5 or lower or even better have no Direct X
3. Drop your computer out your window at a police car and shout "EAT THAT YOU PIGS"

/sarcasim off
Sorry I just could not resist saying this.

Well anyway
1. What does an obvious beginner (NOOB) want with an unprotected map?
2. People like you are known to ruin maps by making 10000s of rigged stolen vers of unprotected maps.
3. It is impossiable to fully restore properly protected maps (like vexs optomizer)
4. Stop being annoying and posting an frowned appon topic, if you want how a specific system works (triggers) ask for an extract or for a simlar system or use A jass editor and look at the map triggers just do not go around saying "HOW CAN I UNPROTECT MAPS SO I CAN RIG um i mean "LEARN" FORM IT?"

To protect maps use wigitizer(state in load screen you used it because you have to restart to play a different game) and vexorians optomizer which sadly as a sideeffect of reducing map size massivly, protects maps...

It is impossiable since it messes up the variable names and thus you can make it openable and even editable BUT you can not restore the variables to their orignal names since you do not know what they were orignaly called. . .
A fully unprotected map is as good as an orignal but vexorians optomizer stops that by renaming all variables to the shortest name possiable to save space and thus no one knows with out the orignal what they were orignaly called. Even still you can edit them eventualy but you can never restore optomized maps to their orignal unoptimized condition.

Well, I started by opening WarChasers (Made by Blizzard Entertainment - Found in Scenarios) and just looked at those triggers. Tis what I suggest for you, too :D

Man, I also started from Warchasers! I learned a hell lot, the main problem with mapmakers not wanting others to open their map is they dnt want people to steal spell ideas and/or make n00b versions of the map such as (insert name here)'s Warchaser Superdooper best version Ultra GX v99.9

No the actual reason is protecting can reduce map size by anywhere between 50 to 500 KB and reduce loading times by 10-50%
With such benifits who would not leap to use it?

The lamest map makers just protect their maps by using quick and ineffecient methods of protection and thus lose such benfits and so thoes are the people who are being mean and not letting people learn from their maps.

The best way to learn triggers is to look up the basics of triggering from one of the included maps then trial and error alot in gui.
Once you know GUI to atleast 50% then start learning simple jass and once you know the basics, from then on your a pro triggerer.

I remember my first attempt at using multiboards to make a graph while now im using them to make bars that are accurate to a very high degree (1%).
I remember by first attempt at a spell using triggers where it leaked like mad and was only usuable by one unit at a time while now I can make spell with no leaks and usuable by infinate units at the same time.

Once you know the basics from one of the included maps the advanced stuff becomes easy. . .

And dangerous since all it takes is some annoying "friend" to play around with your account if your a maderator when your not looking and BOOM the site is ruined by 1 person. . .
Also a "Pro" at triggers means you can do jass otherwise your a "pro GUI" but not a "Pro" at triggers since GUI is massivly weaker than JASS and you can not stop leaks in GUI.
But jass is easy to learn it took me one month for the basics (I knew no other computer lanuage before then) and from then on my skill has ever been increasing.
