How to move Doodads and keep its height?

To change height of any doodads, we use Ctrl + pg. up/ pg. down => It's nice
However, after changing height, if you change position, its height will change to default !!!
But in this video (here) , seem he didn't not encounter this problem => how do he do that ?

Advanced Menu -> Untick "Reset Fixed Object Heights". Doesn't work with copy-pasted doodads/destructables.
