How to make Abyss tiles walkable without changing unit movement type

Hey everyone, for a map I'm designing I was wondering how I could make it so that units belonging to a certain team able to walk on abyss but not over cliffs, trees, etc. Would I have to put pathing blockers everywhere and set each unit to flying movement or is there another less time consuming way?
