How to make a pushback ability?

How can i make a ability that push back the target unit?
I searched the forum but i didn't find anything. Can someone help me?

This is usually called "knockback". You'll find many threads talking about it in the forums, and several systems for it in the Spells section.

you will have to trigger it your self or you could use a system like GUI knockback system by paladon

Knockback and Slide is 2 different thing:

KNOCKBACK as in INSTANT move towards a position (Example: Morphling's Adaptive Strike effect)

SLIDE is a unit that move every inch of the map slowly and more towards, sliding on the terrain (Example: Barathrum's Greater Bash)
