How to create Dungeon Lighting?

Hi! I want to make a dark, hazy atmosphere with dark corners and patches f light. Using fog i regions doesn't give it the effect I'm looking for. I heard there was a way to change the color of the day and night? Dwarven Monster Slayers has lighting that is similar to what I want to create. Thanks for your time
