So basically whenever I go to set up a units portrait, it doesn't come up. And when I check my portrait in the Import Manager it says it's a model, anyone know how to make set the portrait up or if there's an option, to switch it from model to portrait?

The unit portrait is a 3d model. Not a 2d image or anything else.

I may be wrong for the following: It is a part of the model you use on the unit. If you want to use a custom portrait, you have to edit the model.
