Thanks, ive made lots of maps and have no idea what to do with them.
I hope you don't feel offended by this message, I'm not talking about you in particular, but about everyone who's new.

As a map mod, I've seen plenty of people who made a lot of maps and decided to 'dump' (upload) them at the hive.
This is good, as long as the uploaded maps have a high quality, which is a pretty small chance for beginners.
Good maps must be leakless, contain at least a decent terrain, good gameplay, not too many bugs, no cheats (unless for single player testing), balanced etc...

Also, when uploading on the hive you'll notice that there's a box for the description, do not take this lightly!
When I'm moderating maps, about 50% of the moderating is spent on reading the description (since I don't open/play maps to moderate them).
Try to polish your description (Tutorial for this) and save it in notepad or some other text editor so you don't lose it.
Use BB-codes, paragraphs and don't be too lazy: type "you" instead of "u" etc.

In short: don't upload your map if you feel like something's missing, or just to upload it.
If you really are a beginner, just don't upload those maps: learn a bit of JASS (required for fixing leaks), or get some people to do it for you (when working in a team).
