How do you make a Ability cost more than 1000 mana?

well... i dont know if thats possible in normal WE but if you install worldeditor Unlimited the maximum is about 65000...

if you cant, then try either

1. Hold onto shift and double click the factor you want to change. it removes the limit.
2. Use triggers to order the casting unit to stop casting an ability, or something like that.

hm.. another possibility would be with triggers. kinda that:

    Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability

Conditions
    (Mana of (Casting unit)) Greater than or equal to xxxx.xx
    (Ability being cast) Equal to <<your spell>>

Actions
    Unit - Set mana of (Casting unit) to ((Mana of (Casting unit)) - xxxx.xx)
