Are you talking about creating your own custom spells?

To create a new spell:

1) Press the Custom Spell button
2) Type in a name
3) Select the spell you want your spell to be based off of.

If you need screenshots just say so.

Welcome to The Hive Workshop, M-Ray.

Noone is born with all knowledge in the world, so don't be embarrassed to ask what you don't know. So, spells, huh? Yeah...

If you want to give a spell to a unit, go to the Object Editor, select your unit, go to the data field that says 'Abilities - Normal', double-click on that, and you will see a table. Click the 'Add Ability' button and you will see a list with abilities. Select your ability, and click OK. If you want to add a hero ability to a hero, do the same with 'Abilities - Hero'.

If you're asking how to create spells, open the Object Editor, go to the Abilities tab, and then click on the 'New Custom Ability' button. It looks like a small square button with a black fist displayed on it. A list menu named 'Base Ability' will pop up. This allows you to select which ability you want to modify. For example, if you want a spell that deals damage and stuns a target unit, you will base your spell on Storm Bolt, and not on, say, Bloodlust.
