How do I rotate doodad upside-down?

How do I rotate doodad upside-down? I've seen many terrainers that are using this technique... I was just looking at the tutorials but I can't seem to find it anywhere... maybe I missed something... so, can anyone teach me how to do it, or at least where's the tutorial for it? Make it a unit and set the maximum roll angle to -180?

in object data art - pitch angle and roll angle
set it to -3.14/2 experiment with those two values.

You don't need to make it a unit. Doodads can have max roll/pitch angles too.

There is also a value in the art section that will make it so that when you place a doodad on a cliff or hill, if that field is set to a certain value, the doodad will rotate to fit the surface it is on. I thought that might be useful to you.
