How can I make... "Charm" ???

I want to make a spell Charm but it has duration. I mean if a unit is charmed by that skill (Charm), it will be belong to the caster, but after x seconds, it will be belong to its owner again. I had tried one but it didn't work. Please show me how to make a spell like that.

Base it on charm, and have a trigger that runs when it is cast.

Set a local unit variable to the target unit, and another local variable for its current owner, wait X seconds, check if the unit is still alive, and return it to its previous owner.

charm has a duration field i believe it will work if u change it there.

Your way will not really work, triggers is really needed.

Unit - Change Owner

You can retain it or not

For the best way add a Floating Text Timer above it

Dont use Unit - Set Time Life (IT WILL KILL THE UNIT!)

But charm i think is good enough but if you want some unique charm abilities then trigger it

Make it MUI so it will not cause problem..
