Hi the names Tyson, i'm from Australia and hopefully i'll learn how to make some cool stuff off of this site, maybe if someone could point me in the right direction of some custom spell tutorials would be great

Can't help you with spells unfortunately, I'm more into GUI, modelling and skinning but GL, war 3 editing is really easy to pick up and good fun

Before you are able to make spells i would suggest you to learn the basics.The Tutorial section is what you need for the moment.
