Hi everyone, I've been lurking here for awhile, downloading maps and such, but just now got around to registering! :D

I'm a "newbie" mapmaker you could say. I've made one full map before (that was so bad I never want to speak of it again) and many mods of other maps like Angel Arena and LOAP.

One mod of mine got some attention and had gathered some fans. It was called LOAP Omega then was followed up by LOAP Omega X. Both of which I signed under my old Bnet name of Acolite77. It is probably the most successful map I've done.

Anyway, I recently got a new computer and this site has been a lifesaver for getting some of my favorite maps back. But there is still one that I really would like to have again but can't find anywhere. It was called DBZ: The Legacy I believe, its key features were custom models, Buu could absorb just about anyone, and the sagas were pretty true to the series. I remember androids would turn into cell at a certain level and then cell would absorb the androids as he leveled. There was also Frieza who came back with his dad in cyborg mode after being killed at a certain level. And Broly was helped by his father in the beginning but turned on him after a certain level. Also, Babidi could majin all the villians and Vegeta. I think it was based off DBZ Rampage.

Anyway, I hope someone knows what map I'm talking about and could direct me to a DL. But either way, hello everyone! Good to be here!

Greetings, Xero21, Welcome to the Hive! I also like Angel Arena (But HvH more though) But of course I am not saying this as an offense but a noobie map-maker is still welcome at the Hive, just show what you can do in the World Editor and you may just be able to help someone when you put your mind into it.

Welcome to The Hive Workshop!

Greetings Xero21. Thanks for participating in our community! The Hive includes many talented Warcraft III modders of all skill levels among its users. New members (especially friendly ones) are always welcome. Take a look around and enjoy your stay, may it be long and productive!

Some good places to start include:Searching the site using the above link always helps, you can learn a lot that way: just reading and learning is usually the best place to start, especially if one feels overwhelmed.

Likewise, the tutorials can really teach ALL of us a thing or two.

The chat room is cool: lots of people can answer questions there.
  • A few other tips that might help too:
    • Always search first! Did I already mention THAT?
    • When creating a new thread, make the title VERY specific: so the site's search engine (and we users) can easily understand just what the thread contains.
    • Post your new threads in the proper forum: read the descriptions of each one so that you know what to post there.
    • If all else fails, just send me a private message! I'll try to do whatever I can to help.
