Help, trying to add a new duel system!

Okay, i'm trying to edit my duel so when your hero is selected for a 1v1, 2v2, FFA and 5v5 etc, i wan't it so when the duel is over, the "winners" go to the spot where they were originaly taken from.

I'm wondering how to do this? All i'm thinking is creating a duplicate of the hero and hiding the hero current hero. Would this be the only way of doing this?
