hi i am new too modeling and i was wondering which program should i use? at the minute i have milkshape 3d, but... i tried to get a model already made from the models section ov this site but when i try to open it, it wont let me.

so which program should i use? or how do i open them up in milkshape 3d?

Use War3File Converter to convert the file to MDL and than open it with Milkshape.

but how do i open it cause when i got to open it will only let me open .ms3d files?

You need the Milkshape importer. Can't say I know where it is. Google "Milkshape MDL Importer", skip every one about Neverwinter Nights, and you should find at least 1 WC3 one
