Even better: why do you allow units with the locust ability to die? Aren't they just dummy units?
Well, if you do require them to die, then:
  • Items
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Acquires an item
    • Conditions
      • (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Locust Dummy
    • Actions
      • Item - Make (Item being manipulated) Stay with Heroes upon death
I don't know how they gain their items, but you should be able to figure that out yourself I hope :)

Sometimes... I got an ability here with creating an illusion per attack...
The problem is that, sometimes, the dummy cannot reach the attacker and will die off, and I get that problem... Let me try about it.
