Haunted Village II : Red Moon


Overview:

This is a short Rpg/Adventure game where you and your teammates are required to play as one of the Chosen Ones.
All the long old stories begins in Haunted Village I, detectives(Role of players in previous map)are sent to Village of Silvermoon to save the village from Darkness. This map continues their journey after they finished their task. They were ambushed by Unknown Evils. During the flee, a light came out and saved them. The light then brought them to the Village of Red Moon, thus, a new journey begins.

Storyline:

The journey continues after the Detectives escaped the village.Evil came out of no where, and they have no choice to hide into the creepy woods to find some helps. During the run, more Unknown Evils have emerged and attacked them, the detectives are no match for them. They decide to run into deeper part of the woods. Finally, a light source came out and scared off all the evils.The detectives now found them in front of a village: Village of Red Moon
Once again...mystery awaits the Detectives.

Gameplay:

You play as one of the heroes, fight through series of evils/bosses and help this village to regain their peace.

12 heroes in total,each with unique abilities and special skills when reached a particular level
Hunter
Specially skilled in killing a single target
Primary Attribute: Agility
Hunting Dog: Summons Hunter's favorite friend, Gieza to fight along with him
Windwalk: Hunters go invisible, dealing backstab damage when strikes invisible
Hunter's Sense: Increase Hunter's attack and movement speed
Evasion[Ulti]; Gives a great chance that enemy will miss when attacking Hunter
Troll
Nature's warrior, highly given with nature's skills
Primary Attribute: Agility
Force of Nature: Summons Treants to aid Troll in battle
Roots of Nature: Entangle targeted enemy unit, disable him and deals DPS
Elune's Grace: Nature's power protects Troll from range and magical attacks, reducing those attacks for Troll
Nature's Wrath[Ulti]: Entangle all enemies near Troll, disabling them for a period of time
Knight
Holy knight from town, highly skilled combat units
Primary Attribute: Strength
Skills:
Holy Retribution: Release a holy wave and damage all enemies in a line
Command Aura: Give friendly nearby attack bonuses
Holy Axe: Gives the ability to do AOE damage/cleaving attack
Avatar: Enhance Knight's physical strength, giving him power beyond human reach.
Witch
Witch, from place beyond our reach, speciallize in assisting
Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Skills:
Ward Hex: Witch transform into 3 wards;Dark,Ice/Venom; each with special abilities
Serpent Ward: Summons serpents to fight for Witch
Healing Ward: Deploy a healing ward that heals all nearby friendly units
King Serpent[Ulti]:Summons a ultimate movable serpent to assist Witch
Shaman
Magical combat units, specillize in assaulting spells
Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Skills:
Blood Bolt: Strikes out a chain bolt to damage multiple enemies
Fire Bolt: Highly explosive, deals damages and stuns at the same time
Bloodlust: Increase friendly units attack speed when cast
Blood Golem[Ulti]: Shaman gathers all his blood and summons 2 Bloog Golem to fight for him
Crusader
Brave warriors which posseses magic and physical power
Primary Attribute: Strength
Skills:
Magic Slam: Slam the ground with magic force, reducing their movement
Magic Sentry: The magical sentry reduce all incoming damages
Devotion Aura: Increase nearby friendly unit's armor
God's Strength[Ulti]: Gives immeasurable power to the Crusader
Mechanic
Mechanical & strong assisting hero,
Primary Attribute: Strength
Skills:
Pocket Tower: Creates a tower at targeting point to help Mechanic in the combat
Mechanize: Transform Mechanic into a huge robot, enhancing physical durability and increase unit size
Rivet Upgrade: Mechanic upgrade his rivet to perform more efficiently, increase movement speed and attack damages
Cluster Rockets[Ulti]: Release tuns of rocket to bombard enemy in an area
Priest
Primary healing and assisting hero,
Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Skills:
Holy Light: Heals Priest himself/allies or damage enemy undead units
Heal: Heals Priest himself/allies for hit points per second
Inner Fire: Gives extra armor and damage bonus when cast
God's blessing[Ulti]Heals all ally heroes on the map instantly
Ranger
Combat-Assist hero, come from place to place to help terminate evils
Primary Attribute: Agility
Skills:
Rejuvenation: Heals a target unit gradually
Adrenaline Tonic: Temporary increase attack speed but make Ranger more susceptible to attacks Trueshot Aura: Gives friendly range unit extra damages
Multishot[Ulti]: Gives the ability to strike extra 2 enemies simultaneously
Detective
The primary role of this game, a detective with special skills
Skills:
Primary Attribute: Intelligence
Hypnotize: Detectives makes clone of himself to confuse the enemies
Holy Water: Temporary disarm enemy units in an area by splashing holy water at them
Mana Shield: Detective absorbs any incoming damage with his mana pool when activated
Life Drain[Ulti]: Drains life from targeting unit for a period of time
Sniper
High damage, long range but low attack speed
Primary Attribute: Agility
Skills:
Shotgun Strike: Strikes multiple units with shogun, dealing huge damages
Chainguns: Give Sniper a chance to mini stun his target
Sniper Tactics: Sniper gets the chance to both evade an attack and deals critical strike
Ultimate Shot[Ulti]Stuns an enemy for 8 seconds with all Sniper's might, dealing minor damages
Centaur
Highly skilled Centaur from barrens, primary skilled in fire
Primary Attribute: Agility
Skills:
Immolation: Centaur surronds himself with flames, damaging enemies who comes near
Spirits of Fire: Centaur release spirits of fire to burn nearby enemy units
Incinerate: Centaur plants a spirit of fire at his enemy every time he strikes an enemy, the targeted unit explode on death, dealing AOE damage
Flame Strike: Centaur burns the ground, burns everything into ashes

In this map, command line is still used to choose hero
Type -heroes to see list of hero names
then type -"any hero names in the list(without quotes)" to choose that hero

Tips
-Team game is suggested if wants a hard enough game
Reason: team is hard to control, they pushed at early game, and then under-level after that
-Singleplayer game is suggested if wants a easy and relaxing game
Reason: Game speed is under control, Level is the key to victory

The map in itself is fine enough, though there's some grammar/spelling mistakes now and then. The difficulty is rather hard if you're playing alone, so i won't suggest that.

Anyway, it's quite fun, but i would say that it could have been better.

Actually, solo is no that hard cause you took all experience yourself without sharing @@
Level is the key to victory, I myself have tried to play alone...

Ouch,I don't know about you all, buy I am from Asia, since english is not my mother language, so I am not strong in it ><
BTW, I am still a student lol~~

Me and my pal passed this map earlier. It took us exctly 1 hour and 31 minutes. This map is indeed great. But wait, there is a small fail we found in the map. We took the second fragment or whatever it was called from thouse cultists with a horse, seeing as we had absolutely no room to take it in our inventorys. I guess what I am trying to say is that the horse died and us 2 got teleported into a whole new location (That dungeon where you have a 33% of getting the monsters behind the doors when opening them). The horse then dropped the item and it remained there. But the main problem was that we couldnt get back there no matter what we did. On the end we won, but we didnt have all 3 pieces.

Yes, I noticed that too, there's many possibilities that the horse will die or whatever, I decide not to fix that as that decrease the chances of getting all 3 piece together. Anyway, thanks =D
