SOLVED

Hey,how are you?

I was thinking and i need a buildable gate who can open and close when i click a button or say something(substring).
I need a gate that can evolve(Level 1 to Level 2) or if you give just the normal gate who can be build and open/close i take care of the rest.

Thanks!

How about making a PERMANENT MORPH for the gate, where the alternate version has animation name "death alternate" and 0 collision size. I recommend changing RoboGoblin to be a unit ability.
Reminder: You'll need to create an alternate form unit into which it forms.

With a permanent morph you won't need any triggers.
You will need a custom UNIT ability based off the RoboGoblin of the Tinker (check the Hero Ability is False), and two building units: A closed gate unit, and an opened gate unit.
The open gate unit will have the string "death alternate" in the field "Art - Required Animation Names", the ability of Invulnerability, and the pathing map of the Zone Indicator in the field "Pathing - Pathing Map".
Firstly, search for the field of "Techtree - Dependency Equivalents" in both buildings. Make each unit have the other unit in that field.
Secondly, move to your custom ability and change the "Normal Form Unit" to whatever gate you prefer, but consider that that gate is the gate that will be originally put in play. Then go ahead and change the "Alternate Form Unit" to the other gate. Also, remove the bonuses that the ability grants (strength bonus, armor bonus) and the mana cost of the ability.
Lastly, go ahead and give the ability to both of your units. Then watch ingame as you flick through the open gate and the closed gate.
