Footman Shield Spike Colour?

I making a simple footman skin edit but the spike on the shield really annoys me as I don't know what part of the skin actually affects it. It appears it is either something on the shield or the chest or the back but I tried all those areas and no changes occurred when I put the skin on the model.

Can anyone help? Which part of the footman skin affects the colour of the shield spike?

Edit: Okay, sorry, I figured it out, the spike's texture is that of the entirety of the front plate armour.

It's mapped on the entire torso. Just edit the model and remove it. Or reskin the Captain model instead, in it the spike is wrapped on the sword's tip and is easier to edit.
