Okay, so we have many factories on the hive, me being a former member of one of the spell workshops and a half-active member of the Modder's Idea Factory (see signature), but we have Dragonson's (now inactive) signature workshop and things like that.

The problem with these is that requests are floating away in the mass, and it's extremely hard to organise them if the workshop has several members. As such, I'd like to request a system for these threads:
-Anyone can post a ticket. These could be either text based or premade forms.
-There could be a UI for adding and removing fields to a form, and a list of forms and answer forms for several different request types. This is optional, and BBc is completely fine.
-Thread OP and senior members can refuse or accept tickets and add directly accepted tickets.
-Thread OP and senior members can set a ticket priority that's visible for the members.
-Any workshop member can take a request that's not taken yet. If the requests are form based, members can take these requests part-by-part.
-Thread OP and lead members can edit the header post.
-Thread OP and lead members can assign more members to a single ticket.
-Any member can mark a ticket as done, but only the OP and the senior members can remove them.
-The answers of the completed tickets are automatically posted as the last post (with an optional field for a leading text and a checkbox for HIDDEN tags)
-The answers are also added to the 2nd, reserved post between hidden tags.

I think it's pretty well described like this, and would tremendously help the workshops. Of course, the forum itself would be usable for additional discussions on details and the usual flaming/trolling/having fun :ogre_hurrhurr:

Not exactly, afaik the current hosted project subforums lack those subtle details that can make such a system work, eg. multiple leveled user authority system, so only members with higher authority can delete from certain threads, but more workshop members can edit the existing posts (to add "TAKEN" tag, for example).

And imo the Modders Idea Factory could use some additional room with such extra rights for reorganisation :p

Also, I'm not sure the current system makes defining admins/role levels thread-by-thread possible, I think it only works for entire subforums, or am I wrong?
