This is a regular melee 1vs1 map made by me (gametag: Monkeycat).

This map futures a regular mirrored and (hopefully) balanced one versus one map with a slight twist- the central parts of the map (the actual canyon) is only accessible from the top right corner by land.

The map does also futures zeppelins which may make it tempting to harass the opponent's economy by air, but beware! The canyon is also inhabited by dangerous lizards with range attacks that may tear air units to pieces relatively fast.

Yet, great risks offer even greater rewards! The creatures within the canyon drops very useful and game winning items, not to mention a very wealthy gold mine. However, be sure to have an escape plan since its easy to be ganked down there by the opponent.

The win condition is just like other melee maps, destroy the opponent's base(s), heroes and units.

Just like other melee maps, this map intentionally avoids using a custom loading screen.

I've never been any good at RTS maps so I'll just keep to the terrain, it's beautiful. I've never really been a fan of the simpler form of raising and lowering cliff levels but you make it work. And your attention to detail is great.
