Dragonflight Trees - Pack #1

A pack of trees made to warmup the workflow, test directional normals in WC3 engine and finally have good-looking deciduous trees. Ported from Dragonflight, made fully animated, destructible and harvestable. Have custom-made stumps and can work as replacement for vanilla trees.

Credits to @LongbowMan who made the original, updated Ashenvale Trees that I based this pack on. I simply inserted my models into his mdxes and adjusted couple things, so this pack inherits the subtle motion of the leaves in Stand animation. I love this little detail, man! Makes my forests so alive :].

Filenames of mdx files support a doodad/destructible with custom variations [yes! You can have as many custom variative doodads as you want!]

NOTE: Directional normals of the crowns will work only if the trees remain in default rotation, as I aligned the normals to default lighting of WC3 engine. Modern engine locks the rotation of destructible trees so I suggest to keep it this way. The crowns may look off at different angles. The entire trick was inspired by Talavaj's Modular Shire and was implemented to avoid nasty, dark shadows that completely ruin the look of all kinds of deciduous trees.

Displays properly in wc3 editor. Model works HD modes ingame. Can be properly selected. Some models are unselectable ingame by simple mouse clicking because they lack an origin point attachment Textures are in .dds so they are likely to only work...

Aaah, so trees actually do need Origin. Okay, so new knowledge acquired :],

Changes made, bundle updated.

BTW. DDS does work in SD, on every version from 1.32 forward. The screenshot with workers is from SD. DDS is actually more performance-friendly so I favour this over .blp. However, this pack will not work on 1.31 and every older version.
