I got the tau mod for dawn of war. Heres a screenshot of some of the units

i think theres something there saying that it will only work on v1.12b or something.

Oh and one spall detail, you must start the game using one of the appropriate shortcust

either: DoW - Tau Mod Demo Mod V1.0b : on the desktop
or: "C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War\W40k.exe" -modname Tau_Mod : in the start menu

off topic:----Speaking of opening things iwth edited shortcuts, does anyone know how to open an executable (like warcraft 3) not in full screen mode?

i think you add something like -window to the shortcut path (after the ")

If thet doesnt work then goto the blizzard website and select support:warcraft 3

Well, except for this white thing which is supposed to be tower i guess it looks fine.....

Are there other race-mods for that game out there or under construction? Like Dark Eldar, Necrons or something?

Apparantly the mod is still in development which might explain the lack of textures.

There are other mods. I have a Tyranid mod but i dont have anything that will open .rar files.

.rar is win rar. www.rarlab.com its shareware and very useful i suggest you get it.
