I think the tags section of a model must also contain "destructible". Doodads are decorations that cannot be interacted with (nor by units nor by triggers), while Destructible are, they can be destroyed, and the important part is that they stay at their decay animation if they get destroyed. For example trees turn into trunks, crates into destroyed crates, cages into destroeyd cages, gates can be made to open with triggers, platforms can be raised and so on. I think this is important and missing.
