Death Toll rises in Pakistan suicide bombing

Pakistani authorities on Monday hunted members of a Taliban faction which once declared loyalty to Islamic State after the group claimed responsibility for an Easter suicide bomb targeting Christians that killed at least 70 people.
The brutality of Sunday's attack by Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, the group's fifth bombing since December, reflects the movement's attempts to raise its profile among Pakistan's increasingly fractured Islamist militants.
At least 29 children enjoying an Easter weekend outing were among those killed when the suicide bomber struck in a busy park in the eastern city of Lahore, the power base of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Pakistan is a majority-Muslim state but has a Christian population of more than two million.
It was Pakistan's deadliest attack since the December 2014 massacre of 134 school children at a military-run academy in the city of Peshawar that prompted a big government crackdown on Islamist militancy.
Military spokesman Gen. Asim Bajwa said intelligence agencies, the army and paramilitary Rangers had launched several raids around Punjab following the attack.

it's called taking a selfy with the terrorist

in India a plane was hi jacked with a passenger with a explosive belt

he surrendered shortly after hi jacking the plane

why? a French guy took a selfy with the suicide bomber, totally ruining the bomber moment of glorious martyrdom.

selfies are terrorisms only weakness, so the next time a terrorist demands money or they will cut your head off... ask them if they can take a selfy with you instead ;-)

If you are referring to the Egypt airplane terrorist he was not really a terrorist seeing as he did not have an explosive belt (despite saying he did) and made nonsensical demands (instead of blowing himself up like most modern ones do). He was taking selfies because he did not plan on actually blowing up or killing anyone. It is believed he did it just to try and get to his family but that is still no excuse to do that in this day and age of real and dangerous terrorist.

As for the blowing up of children. One must remember that many terrorist groups train and use child soldiers. It is common for them to strap young children with explosives, order them into a crowd and then remotely detonate them via phone.

think back to the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan

millions of children and defenceless civilians in a part of the country that didn't even have air defences

how is that honourable? it's not it's just ugly, it's just war
