Hello!
So, I created a custom hero (by modifying Blood Mage) and added him to Altar of Kings, so that he could be trained. The training works, however, the problem is - I can train him as many times as I want. Normally, with all other heroes, the icon of this hero in the Altar disappears once you start training him - however, in this case it is different, the icon is still there.

Another thing, connected with that, is that I can make a training que, something not normally available. For example, I can start training my custom hero and then I can click on the Archmage and he's added to the que.

In other wors - it seems like my custom hero is not treated as a hero.

Thanks for help. :)

For your first question, go to Advanced -> Gameplay Constants.
Find the list "Techtree - Dependency Equivalents - Altar" and "Techtree - Dependency Equivalents - Hero" and add your custom hero into it.

For your second question, i am assuming that you used a custom icon.
Go to your import manager, and change the path of your DISBTN icon to:
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\"your disabled icon name".blp

For example, your icon name is "BTNhello.blp"
Then your disabled version of your icon's path should be "ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNhello.blp

Yes, I already fixed the second issue, so I removed the question from my post, though only now did I find out someone had answered, thanks. :)

As for the main question...
I added my hero to "Techtree - Dependency Equivalents - Hero" and now it doesn't allow me to recruit as many of them as I want and that's half the problem solved. :)

However, the icon still doesn't disappear. So I can recruit this hero, upgrade to Keep, recruit him again, upgrade once again and recruit for the third time.

Hmm, it works, but seems like a work-around only. I'd want it to apply to all players, so do I have to create a trigger for every player?
Thanks!
