In Crown Wars wc3 you will pick a side of 2 animalraces. The teams will battle against each other, killing others and capturing diffrent bases on a map.

Crown Wars is a very innovative, fun, and violent map. In the map, there is a good rock<paper<scissors system implemented. There are four main types of units as well as a couple sub-types. Heavy units beat Medium units, Medium units beat Light units, and Light units beat Heavy Units. Towers are the most powerful of all units, and could beat anything in a one-on-one fight. However, Heavy units could still bring a Tower down if assisted with other units. Medium and Light units are pretty much ineffective against Towers. There are also air units. Air units are resistant to nearly all kinds of damage, and reduce it greatly. The best way to bring air units down is anti-air units. Neither of these units fit into their own category, and so are classified as sub-types. For example, a unit could be a Light Air unit. Onto the units and races. At the beginning of every match, the Commander of each team chooses a race for the whole team to choose. If Red chooses the Predators race, then everyone on his or her team, including the Defenders, will be that race. If Pink chooses the Creepers, everyone on his or her team will be the Creepers. The four availible races are F.A.R.M., Predators, Blue Marines, and Creepers. Each race has a basic Light, Medium, Heavy, and Tower unit. The Creepers have a Worm (Light), a Scorpion (Medium), a Spider (Heavy), and a Creep Defends (Tower). The Predators have a Albatross (Light Air), a Dog (Medium), a Teddy Bear (Heavy), and a Preyer (Tower). The Blue Marines have a Frog (Light), a Penguin (Medium), a Crab (Heavy), and a Freeze Blaster (Tower). The F.A.R.M. has a Sheep (Light), a Horse (Medium), a Pig (Heavy), and a Defender (Tower). Back to what I meant by 'basic' units. In the game, the player is given the choice between his race's Light, Medium, and Heavy units. Once he chooses a unit, he is stuck with that type of unit until he dies. The cool thing about Crown Wars is that you can upgrade your unit into different units for an amount of money. Players gain a large amount of money by landing the killing blow on units and also gain it over time. Say you have a Dog. For three gold, you could upgrade it into a Timber Wolf or a White Wolf. You can upgrade the White Wolf into a Great Wolf for ten gold. For twenty-two gold, you could upgrade that unit into a Pure Wolf or a Guard Wolf. You might be thinking that, like in many AoSs and Hero Defenses, if the allied AI kills a unit, the money is wasted. Not in this game! If the allied AI gets money, it will upgrade some of its units in battle. Onto the actual gameplay. At the start of the match, the two captains of the teams, Pink and Red, choose a race for their team. A tower corresponding to the race chosen will be spawned at the main control point of each team. A None Aura and a Reveal Tower is also placed at the main control point of the team, under the captain's control. The Reveal Tower is semi-useful, because as we know, "Knowledge is power!" However, the Aura Tower is much more useful. The captain can choose to upgrade it into an Attack Aura, a Defense Aura, or a Speed Aura, each with its pros and cons. The Tower provides a global aura benefiting all allies in the respective stat. This tower and the Reveal Tower can be destroyed. It is hard, but if you can capture the main control point of the enemy team and destroy the Tower guarding it, you can destroy the Aura Tower and the Reveal Tower, signifigantly hindering your enemies. Now, once both races have been chosen, all players playing the game will be given the choice to be a Light, Medium, or Heavy unit. They then will enter the battlefield through the main control point of their team. At the moment, this is the only control point each team has. As the team captures more control points, players can revive farther up in the battlefield and allied units can spawn farther up in the battlefield. There are a total of four control points in the city. A harder way to win (or lose) the game is to control (or lose) all four control points. This way is hard because all of your opponents will be spawning out of one control point, and your forces will be scattered around, spawning out of three control points. Units spawn periodically and are sent to a random control point under your team's control. Whenever a unit spawns, the Reinforcement counter decreses by one. When a player dies and respawns, the counter also decreases by one. If your counter hits zero, your team loses! This is the much easier way to win (or lose). The most basic and easy way to win using this tactic is to kill the enemy units and don't let your allies die! One last cool feature this game has is a decent AI. The Attackers and Defenders each have a decent AI that upgrades their units, moves their units to control points, spawns them at different control points, and casts spells for the units. However, the 'players' could also be controlled by an AI to balance the teams out. This means you could play by yourself and fight against an AI opponent, which explains the 1-10 suggested players. One last thing to note is that there are a decent amount of custom models. Not too many, but enough to make the game look more polished.
This is a very cool map.
