CREATING WCIII CAMPAIGN! LOOKING FOR ARTISTS!

What started out as Clan PMM's set of two campaigns is being turned into a full-fledged mod. The mod will include two full campaigns, with massive amounts of new units. 10 missions are currently planned for the first campaign (titled "Uprising"), and as many as 20 for the second campaign (titled "Alliance").

As an artist, you will have a choice of the following things:
-Create art for splash screens, loading screens, selection screens, etc...
-Possibly create artwork for website

Note: We do not want people who will be idle and do nothing. You must be fully dedicated to making the mod if you choose to join the team.

Note 2: Joining Clan PMM is optional, but recommended
Note 3: "We recognize all Warcraft 3, Blizzard, and Battle.net pictures are not owned by us"

kkk...i know.i know...iv been slack...but i got ur LS terran..and the wallpapers..but they err..abit blurry..also .. i know some who draws trolls, and i can ask him to draw some for u. i can get in contact with ertwellperllar or how ever u spell it, or i could just ask my pal atryl to do some, they r alot better than me.

Seeing as that it's quite impossible to sell mods w/out getting your *** sued off, it's kinda a req that you will work for free. Mods are one of the best ways to gain recognition in the gaming world, and are of great aide to those who want to try to join companies like Blizzard. That's your payment.

Whitehorn, do me a favor. Think before you blur out some random stuff like that. Now please note, *THIS WILL HELP YOU*. When we say that, it can be used as a thing to help you be recognized. When I say that, I mean its a way for you to be noticed by competiting company's like Blizzard, EA, and more showing your artistic abilities. This is also a experience for you to be able to learn new things, or maybe enjoy seeing your name and artwork, and credits. But like I said, this is all your choice.

And if you want to know about the mod, there's such a thing called. (SEARCH). go ahead and search on WC3Sear forums before you bring this piece of crap dissing into here.

P.S. noone is making you do this, this is free of will and being able to test out all of our betas, and be included in all the work. So we dont need you to join, cause personally I wouldnt want someone like you to be in the mod team specifically cause you are quite ignorant and I respect others for being a bit bright when it comes to using search before talking.

How do I mean very little? Well, you've said "two new campaigns with new units". What are these units? What races are the campaigns about? What happans if you get someone who is awesome at drawing undead and you start expecting them to draw nerubians?

You explained what they needed to draw, which is a plus, but not the specific details of that, which is a minus

Sure, we can provide more information. I don't think that's what he was saying, but we will gladly elaborate. He should have just asked for more info.

Anyways, the mod's name is Troll Wars. In some Blizzard texts, they mention a war that took place before the first Orcish invasion. They called this war the Troll Wars. Our team is looking to re-create that war. The first campaign will follow the Troll side. The Azerothien King has released the Troll Containment Act, which allows humans to hunt down Trolls and return their heads for a bounty. The Trolls band together to fend off the threat, but Chief Harraxe of the Blood Axe clan is angry he was not selected as a warlord. He breaks off with his clan and starts attacking the humans in Southeast Azeroth. You take control of his elite force as you attempt to make your way to the Crystal Cathedral. Along the way, there will be numerous opportunities to raid enemy outposts, ambush convoys, and fight massive battles.

The second campaign will put you in command of Colonel Roham's Task Force Spear, which has been created by the humans as a joint force between all human nations, Dwarves, and High Elves. This force was created with the specific purpose of countering Chief Harraxe's Blood Axe clan, as his elite Trolls continue to wreak havoc on the humans. This campaign will take you on a grand tour of the eastern land mass of the world of Azeroth. The Trolls will push up from Azeroth, through Khaz Modan, and diffuse every-which-way once they are north of Khaz Modan (we are using the WarCraft II maps b/c those are most accurate for our time frame). You will fight battles in the famed Gilneas, Stromgarde, Khaz Modan, Alterac, Quel Thalas, and more!

The mod will have a single-player aspect as well, which will include at the very least 4 factions, but we're looking to include about 8 races (if it's 4, they will be Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Trolls; if there's 8, they will be Trolls, Elves, Dwarves, Azeroth, Stromgarde, Alterac, Gilneas, and Lordaeron[Lordaeron will include Dalaran b/c Dalaran only offers little in terms of units, and the two nations are also very, very close to each other and have a history of working together]). There are no plans for multiplayer at this time, but if Blizzard opens Battle.net to mods, we will rethink that.

However, lets be more specific. You say you are '+A in Avanced Internet Programming'. What do you program in and do you have any examples? This goes for 'Advanced Programmer', 'Graphic's Designer', and by 'Adobe Photoshop editor' I assume you don't mean to say you edit Adobe Photoshop, but rather downloaded it and do some form of 2D graphics with it, so include that too!

Now, back onto topic. You are advertising to recuit people for your project. I am not - as I am capable of doing my own with my resources - there is no competition between our parties as such.

I posted to point out the flaw in your 'advert'. You can't expect to ask people to join without explaining what you are doing. This has since been resolved (somewhat).

Finally, I suggest you read the rules here, as you seem to enjoy dishing out your own expected courtesies without respecting the rules of the environment you are guest to.

Mod Team

Actually, I can speak for R0khan and say that he is very good at what he does. Even I at first doubted him. I knew he was good, but I didn't think that he had what it takes to mod WarCraft III. I knew he'd made a CS mod, but I still wasn't convinced. Well, he showed me. I'm not going to reveal exactly what he's done so far, but I will say that it impressed even me. I have fairly good knowledge of mods, and I can tell you know R0khan is everything he claims to be. He doesn't slack either.

Now, I realize, that the both of you, Whitehorn and TDR, are very, very insecure in your abilities. So, I feel no need to respond to you again. We will just see which is better when the final product comes out. Btw, although we may not be getting anything from forum posts, our team is constantly growing from PMs and e-mails to people (very talented ones), and a vast majority of them are saying yes, so feel free to turn this into a crap post. We don't need it. We will still watch it and accept help from anyone interested, but if you are interested, you'd be better off just PMing me.

TerranUp, nothing agaisnt your mod, but you don't seem to realise who you are talknig to. Whitehorn is a very skilled modder who runs The Hubb, a site which I frequent every day, and TDR is an excellent custom modder, skinner, and artist in general. All Whitehorn askd was that you provide more information on your project, which you did.

The only reason TDR acted like that is the people of this site. If you can see him at the Hubb or SAmods, then you'll see he's a nice guy. He's actually helpnig me with one of my models right now.

Well, if he behaves himself, I've no problem with offering him a position. I don't generally carry grudges, so if people apologize or make-up for what they've done, I basically give them a new slate (that will hold true for most things, but there are some things you can never be forgiven for).

Anyways, if they want to act amiably, I've no problem (and actually would want to) putting them on the mod team.

This speaks for itself. No wonder he's banned. Whithorn is a good guy, and there were some really stupid insults presented by the other side, but this kind of crap just gets to me. I know this is flaming, continuing a flame war (possibly), but this kind of stuff REALLY gets to me. When will people learn that not everyone at a certain age was exactly the same as they were at that age? When will people learn that not every single person aged 13-17 should have / has their life revolve around sex, sports, and socialising? People, just because someone is in their mid teens doesn't mean they are incapable of accomplishing anything worthwhile.
Really sorry for the flame, but this is the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time. I know I'll probably get warned, but meh.
