Creating a co-op?

I remember seeing in the Rise of the Sin'dorei campaign there was a "forces" match with Illidan and Vashj. Is it possible to recreate something like that and if so. How would it be done?

Get the maps from Dunno how reforged does it now but getting the maps from MPQ and adding a second player isn't all that hard, the hard part is including interactions for the second player so as to ensure levels & items cross over from previous levels, additionally small things like regions and events.

The maps are located in the CASC as a folder structure.
